okay, sports fans, explain this one to me...

so today, i decide to permanently eschew the use of CAPS in this and future bloggings, with a long - term plan to do away with punctuation altogether ...

so, back to the story... this morning, amid a pleasant chat with my best friend,the d, she says to me: "So, are you seeing someone?"... now, on occasion, d will ask me this, and part of me always wonders if she asks due to feelings for me, or she asks because she's grown weary of my attentions (most likely the latter)... actually it was a ploy on my part to stall for time, as shocked as I was to hear her ask this question, at this time... I tell her yes, that I was seeing a j , and explained what just happened to me this past friday (see initial post, if you dare) ...

i'll spare you the sordid details of the rest of our conversation... by the way, for those of you keeping track, i've had to correct three CAPS errors in the paragraph above...

anyways, a few hours later, my ex, l, shows up at my work unexpectedly - it's been about 6 months since my last contact with her - and she also asks me if i was seeing someone...

now, to have both the d and my ex, l, show up on the same day, and both ask me the same question... astronomical odds of occurrence in this so - called life of mine... can you explain this? why do these crazy things in your life just pop up all at once? i mean, you're drifting along, waters calm, dangling an arm in the warm water, sun warming the body, when a flaming meteor the size of a two ton medicine ball hurtles out of the sky and slams into the water near your boat, causing an immediate capsizing...

in a completely unrelated topic, i'm recommending google news: http://news.google.com/ great compilation of sources, page seems to go on forever when you scroll down, and links are quick and efficient...

of course all this makes me go back to wondering about j and i... what to do? most sources that have my ear (and respect) say i should move on, find another out there... i'm really reluctant to do so... seems i've grown fond of j... she's the coolest chick... besides, i figure when you find a good thing, you gotta stick with it for a while, see what happens... so i think that's the path i'll take... will keep you posted...

made it 4 paragraphs without using CAPS... new typing pattern seems to be taking shape...
