Smoking, Sitting, & Typing

I'll never understand women. You meet someone out of the blue. There is this obvious attraction. You see each other for a bit. Common interests are shared, new and different experiences. Laughter is everywhere.

Then, from left field comes: "I don't lust after you", followed shortly by: "I mean, I used to lust after you, but I don't anymore." Whew... And this just six short days after discussing building "our bed". See what I mean?

They do this, I think, intentionally, but without malice on their part. A fishing analogy here would be appropriate. They hook you. Get you to commit. Then they run for the hills., terrified that they will get burned again.

When that was not even a consideration in my mind. Always thought laughter to be key. Get together, feel warm and safe, laugh a lot. Life goes on.

Ah, well, now I have to ponder pursuit or exchange (probably preceded by a prolonged solo run). What's a guy to do?

Will keep you posted on this and other fascinating developments. Rather astonished you've decided to read this far.

Arnold for President,
indeed. I'm saving for Palau. Seems a relatively safe geographic location.

And with that, I bid you
Adieu.
